Austin Rosenberg
Choreographer
Austin Rosenberg started out as one of the youngest members of Manchester High School's Capital Swing, participated all four years, and now has been a freelance choreographer for the past five years. After being taught by the one and only Andy Haines, he instantly fell in love with the world of show choir. A student of Old Dominion University working towards degrees in Professional Communication and Marketing, he began choreography to help pay for school. He has had the opportunity to learn many styles along his journey and he has found a true passion of working with groups to give them a show they deserve! He has worked and learned from other great choreographers such as Jason Peace and Dean Pearson. Creativity, originality, and dedication are all attributes of what Austin gives to his groups to make them the best they can possibly be.

Dean Pearson

Dean is a native of Hampton Roads and attended Radford University where he studied voice under Dr. Susan Kennedy and choreographed their dance line for Big South Competitions. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Vocal Performance and English. Since the age of 3 and professionally since 19, he has been around the world performing. During this time, Dean has had the privilege and honor to sing and dance with companies such as Spirit, Busch Gardens, Paramount's Kings Dominion, Roanoke Symphony, Paramount's production of Nickelodeon, Stiletto Entertainment, Holland America Cruise Lines, Moon Maxx Production and Troika Entertainment during national and International Broadway tours.
Dean has been choreographing and show designing for show choirs since 2007. His groups also consistently win awards in both A and B divisions. Currently, he is choreographing for nine schools and ten groups including a collegiate show choir. Since retiring from major performing, Dean is now attending Old Dominion University and studying voice under the amazing Dr. Brian Nevdvin.
Soon, Dean will be a Magna Cum Laude graduate with a Bachelors of Music degree in both choral and instrumental education. Still a local performer, he has opened shows at Busch Gardens in Williamsburg and Kings Dominion for the past three years. In 2014-15, he was the entertainer supervisor over five live shows at Kings Dominion and has since returned as the park's choreographer and vocal coach. He is currently the Director of Choral Activities at Powhatan High School.
